Da ich mich zur Zeit mit verschiedenen Migrationsprojekten von MOSS 2007 auf SharePoint 2010 beschäftige hat nachfolgender Artikel meine Aufmerksamkeit erregt:
Microsoft (News – Alert) and Metalogix Software are joining forces in a Webcast that will highlight the new capabilities of SharePoint 2010 and best practices for moving business-critical content from legacy ECM systems into SharePoint 2010.
Metalogix Software announced it will be jointly presenting a free Webcast with Microsoft entitled, „Planning for SharePoint 2010 as an ECM Platform.“ The one-hour joint Webcast will be presented on April 14 at 11:30 a.m. EDT by Microsoft’sRyan Duguid ( News – Alert), senior product manager, ECM and compliance and Metalogix’s Rasool Rayani, co-founder and director.
The Webcast will answer the questions such as how long the migration will take, how complicated it will be and how much money can be saved.
Microsoft and Metalogix officials said they will give attendees a „clear and concise“ overview of the new ECM capabilities in SharePoint 2010.
„If you plan to take advantage of the new ECM capabilities of the SharePoint 2010platform, there are likely a number of questions on your mind,“ said Rayani. „This free Webcast was designed to answer these critical questions while highlighting the new capabilities of SharePoint 2010 and best practices for moving business-critical content from legacy ECM systems into SharePoint 2010.“
